Or take a seat in the Banquet Hall and tinker with rag dolls. You can also try your hand at painting plates in the workshop. When it’s time to rest your feet, visit the 50’s coffee bar, which offers biscuit cake, cocoa/coffee, and Easter eggs, of course! Protest Paper Plates The porcelain painters worked at Royal Copenhagen factory. In 1976, they went on a strike for equal pay, and in an attempt to raise funds for the strike fund, they sold paper plates with the factory’s iconic patterns. We invite you to try your hand at the protest paper plates, where you can learn important messages and create protest platters. Everyone is welcome to participate. Open-faced sandwiches for lunch In our restaurant, Café & Øl-Halle, you can combine your museum visit with an Easter lunch, but remember to book a table. The old traditional Danish lunch restaurant is popular, and table reservations are necessary. Book a table here »
