Join us for a guided tour in the Workers' Assembly Hall and learn about the unity, struggles, and victories of the Danish Labour Movement.

The Workers’ Assembly hall is situated at Rømersgade and is now hosting the The Workers’ Museum and the many related activities. The building was erected in 1879 by workers who raised the fundings in unity, and the building was meant for workers. In this house the workers could unite, discuss, and organize.

Time: Saturday May 13 / 11 am – 12 am
Admission: DKK 115 incl. entrance for the museum before and after the tour.

Welcome to the Workers’ Assembly Hall 

The Assembly Hall contains a great deal of history, and on this guide tour, you will learn about the cultural and political meaning of this history. The building is fundamental for the social and working structures that the Danes benefit from today.

In 2021 a large renovation project brought the large Banquet Hall back to its appearance from around 1913. The guided tour will also enlighten you about the architectural choices of this renovation.
