Winter break – it’s for kids

Look forward to two weeks in February - from feb 12 to 25 - where the whole family can explore our exhibitions and try out fun activities.

The Childrens Workers Museum and workshop

During the school winter break in weeks 7 and 8, you can experience life as working-class children firsthand. At the children’s museum, you’re allowed to play with everything. What did children do back when screens didn’t exist, and when there wasn’t enough money to buy toys? Explore the life in the backyard and dive into our workshops.

Make your own rag doll 💪
Sit in the beautiful Banquet Hall and create your own “worker-rag-doll” . In the rag doll workshop, take your time as you bring a working-class child to life and infuse it with dreams. Grab some sweet treats or drinks for the work from our cozy coffee bar.

A crappy day💩
Join us for “A Crappy Day” in the Children’s Backyard. Here, we explore trash, outdoor toilets, laundry, and play as it unfolded in the backyards of the 1930s. But be careful where you step! You might step into the sailor’s poop…

Book your tickets now. Children under 18 have free admission, and adults save 10% by purchasing tickets in advance.
(Please note that some activities are in Danish)
