Exhibition for kids May 5th – August 10th.
Kids have free admisssion

Play and learn with the work of Halfdan Rasmussen, a poet of social protest and kids nonsense known to all Danes. The exhibition revolves around one of his greatest books ‘Halfdans ABC’ that is filled with tongue-twisting, humorous, concise, limerick-style rhymes for every letter of the alphabet. The kids can play on large installations inspired by the rhymes in the book and puzzle with words and letters in a fun way.

The exhibition adresses kids aged 4-8, but can easily be enjoyed by both an older and younger audience. Only grown-ups pay admission to the Workers Museum.

After playing, you might want to have a break with traditional biscuit cake and lemonade in our authentic 1950s coffee shop or have a Danish lunch with ‘smørrebrød’ – open face sandwiches in the original basement restaurant Café & Ølhalle.
