Children at the Workers Museum Hjem // Visit // Children at the Workers Museum Menu Children are always welcome at the Workers Museum and the exhibitions appeal to children of all ages. Our sensory-based museum allow guests to touch and interact with many objects in the exhibitions. Children have free admission until age 18. Besides the Children’s Workers Museum on the ground floor most children enjoy exploring the museum’s narrow hallways and visiting the historical apartments while getting an understanding of the living conditions of the past. On weekends and holidays children accompanying their parents or grandparents can take part in a treasure hunt around the exhibitions. It is also possible to book a birthday party for the children and their friends at the museum. If there are no events in the Assembly Hall it is possible to eat your packed lunch there. If you prefer a served lunch instead our listed basement restaurant Café & Ølhalle serves a traditional Danish platter made of high quality, fresh produce. If there are cravings for something sweet, our coffee shop in the 50’es exhibitions offers lovely cakes, and our Museum shop sells both ice creams and candy to the children – as well as to the adults, naturally! There is a changing table in the accessible toilet on the ground floor, and we also have a pushchair you can use free of charge.
