Summer Special🌛

Bright summer evenings with inspiration and in good company with history at the Workers Museum. Enjoy a special summer night experience in July – and bring a friend for free.

Evening Visit at the Museum

Drop by the Workers Museum and fill your head (and heart) with impressions. All exhibitions are open – you can even try dreaming of better times to come while lying in a maid’s bed from the early 20th century. In the Banquet Hall, you can listen to sound installations, and in the Coffee Bar, enjoy a beer at prices from another time.

Thursday, July 10 from 4 PM
Bring a friend – for free! Book your own admission ticket and bring a friend along from 4 PM to 8 PM.

Program:

👉Guided Tour in English at 5:00 PM
If you’re hosting international friends this summer, our English-language tour of the We Are the Workers exhibition might be just the thing for you. The tour lasts 45 minutes, and museum admission is included in the ticket. Read more and book your ticket for the tour here »

👉 25-Kroner Bar in the Coffee Bar
All evening from 4–8 PM, you can enjoy a Stjernepilsner for just 25 DKK. Settle into the cozy 1950s vibe in the city’s most charming coffee bar. You’ll also find light refreshments and snacks for a quick bite — and of course, the Danish summer classic: koldskÃ¥l.

👉 Request a Song or Story from the Sound Installation in the Banquet Hall
In the Banquet Hall, you can request the very song from labor history or the story you want to fill the room with sound and light.

👉All exhibitions are open
In the quiet evening hours, when fewer guests visit the museum, you can explore our exhibitions in peace and at your own pace. Don’t miss the special exhibitions: WOMEN’S LIVES (final day Sunday, August 4), Good Work!, The 1950s, The Children’s Workers Museum with a real 1930s backyard, or our critically acclaimed exhibition We Are the Workers.
